last night i went to my parents after work. it was a lovely day weather wise so i played catch with my sisters. they arent playing softball this year and that kind of bums me out, but as long as they are doing something else athletic then i am ok. and they are playing soccer again, so its all good. though, mattie says she hates practice cuz when she messes up the coach makes her do push ups :)
dinner was delish and i helped my dad move some furniture so he can continue to demo the downstairs.
job update: got my 3rd interview coming up this friday, then have my second interview at a different place next week! i am very excited and hope one of them turns into an offer within the next week or two...

hey party people. last night i got punk'd. some ho stood me up. she was supposed to come check out the apt, but she straight up didnt show up. no call. no email. lame.
the up side to her not showing up is that the apt is now more clean than ever.
also, i moved some boxes into the new place last night and i am already sore and my hands hurt. saturday is gonna suck.

this post is to tell you what i did yesterday, february 3rd, 2009.
went to hunts point after work to discuss east coast trip plans with omer. at the end of the discussion, our notes on paper consisted of, "red eye flight a go".
we made spaghetti and ceasar salad and enjoyed some wine. then we played poker with jack. i lost.
i went home and watched the bachelor. it was a good episode cuz they were in seattle.
i went to bed.

this post is to tell you what i did yesterday, january 22nd, 2009.
went to my parents house after work. played rock band with the family. cut my dads hair. put up a new desktop background for kelsey and mattie. had dinner. drove home, got subway so i could eat it for lunch the next day, and watched greys anatomy with sarah. i had dessert while watching tv. sarah and i read in bed before sleeping. neat, huh?

this post is to tell you what i did yesterday, january 20th, 2009.
went home and started laundry. i was wearing my last clean pair of underwear so it was imperative that i did a load. while the laundry was going i had an english muffin and watched the bachelor on dvr. also while watching the bachelor, i did some dips, push ups and sit ups cuz i wasnt going to be able to make it to the gym.
then i drove to hp cuz some of us were gonna go get all you can eat tacos at desert fire at redmond town center. we went there and proceeded to eat all the tacos we could for $4.99. turns out i can eat 4 tacos and a 25 oz. beer. i was hoping to eat more cuz they were delicious, but i was too full.
after driving back home, i folded my laundry and watched the end of the bachelor. i also watched an episode of unwrapped and saw how pop rocks are made. sarah then called me to tell me that she really hurt herself playing soccer. i dont like it when she is hurt or sick cuz there is nothing i can do to make her better. (update - she has a doctors appointment today cuz its ridiculously painful).
then hopped into bed and finished one of my rolling stone magazines and proceeded to fall asleep.

this post is to tell you what i did yesterday, december 16th, 2008.
since i had a follow up dentist appointment yesterday, i drove into work. and when i drive into work, that means i drive to my parents afterwards. so i did just that and enjoyed some homemade chicken fettucine. oh man it was tasty. i helped with dishes and hung out a bit and then challenged my dad to a game of backgammon. he won the first game and i challenged him to a rematch, win which i was victorious. then we braced ourselves for a rubber match in which i pretty much destroyed him. my throat hurt a bit because i was yelling in a celebratory fashion during and after the third and final game. then guess what i did?! i drove home.
got home and watched real chance of love. the contestants met their parents and it was definitely entertaining. sarah and blonde sarah were decorating their tree and i was lonely, so i went over there. while there we watched the finale of the biggest loser and then were blasted with entertainment in the form of a new show: momma's boy! oh man it is going to be intense. definitely going to add it to the dvr list. we also watched a lot of news to get info on the pending arctic blast that was inevitable (spoiler alert: weatherman was wrong. seattle got no snow).
then i read some of my rolling stone magazine, helped sarah put on fresh sheets and then a big change happened. i used a different pillow on sarah's bed than what ive been using the past two years. each side of the bed has a red pillow case and a cream pillow case. ive always used the red one, and it was super soft and my drool dried to a nice white splotch everytime i used it. last night i decided to switch it up to the cream pillow because it is a harder pillow (which i have always preferred). not only did i sleep much better, there is no drool evidence of my slumber! jealous?
