this post is to tell you what i did yesterday, december 9, 2008.

sarah picked me up from work and we drove to my parents house to celebrate my birthday. my grandpa showed up and it was good times, even though it got off to a rough start. the upstairs toilet was flooding and we didnt know it. by the time we heard it, it had been going for a while and all the water in the bathroom had been draining into the heating vent. that meant that all the water was in the vents and had been draining into the ceiling above the laundry room, which meant the laundry room was soaked. my dad was pretty frustrated and has since sworn to replace the toilet, as this has happened before and he is fed up with dealing with mini floods.

after the natural disaster was cleaned up, we enjoyed a delicious dinner. after dinner i opened presents and i got some cool stuff for the apartment. and by cool, i mean well-needed. a glass cooking pan, a basting brush, two big knives and a swifter duster! i asked for all of those and am very excited to become a culinary master as a result of getting them.

sarah and i then drove home after letting charlie run around my front yard so the family could see him. he was a hit! the girls and kma love him. so we drove home just in time to watch house. i put the swifter duster to quick work and dusted everywhere during the first couple minutes of the show and it felt good. i heart dusting. after house we were gonna watch real housewives of the oc, but we got roped into watching fringe. neither of us had ever seen an episode, but we got pulled in. after fringe we watched the dvr'd real housewives. those bitches are crazy. i then went to bed and sarah watched another episode of real housewives (dont worry, its dvrd so i can watch it tonight).

i warmed up the bed while sleeping and then gladly woke up to welcome her to the queen sized dream machine.
